Born in Hamburg, Germany and moved to Montreal in 1970. Have been drawing since age of four, didn't begin painting until many years later, in middle age. Reading and studying art was always a passion. Began painting in 2008 when I moved to BC with my soon-to-be wife Diane. Joined the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA). Gained AFCA status in 2010. Became full-time painter in 2011. Have won a number of awards with the FCA
